1. Vision and Mission

1.


Issuance of environmental clearance for green class industrial establishments or projects.


1. Submit online application to concerned district/region/division/metropolis/head office along with required documents;


2. The concerned office will examine the information mentioned in the application and make a decision by inspecting the site;


3. Intimation in writing to the entrepreneur regarding the grant of environmental clearance/rejection of the application by the concerned office.


1. Apply online by filling the applicable sections as per Form-3*;


2. Proof of payment of prescribed clearance fee* and payment of government prescribed VAT on clearance fee.


3. Location map and layout plan;


4. Land ownership deed/mutation slip/lease/rental agreement including land schedule and mouza map;


5. Permission letter from Capital / Chittagong / Rajshahi / Khulna Development Authority / Local Authority (where applicable). E.g. Local Authority Permits are not applicable in respect of buildings or industrial establishments or projects established in Government or Private Export Processing Zones, Economic Zones or Basic Industrial Towns;


6. Entrepreneur's National Identity Card;


7. Investment Division of Industrial Establishment or Project/ BIDA/ BSCIC/ Directorate of Textiles Registration (if applicable);


8. Other information required (if applicable). E.g. Roads and Highways Department No Objection/Approval for CNG/LPG/LNG/Jalani Gas Filling Station.


Fees prescribed by the rules as per the investment shall be deposited in the government treasury through treasury challan, bank draft, pay-order or other electronic means.


7 (seven) working days after receipt of complete application.

Renewal of environmental clearance of green class industrial establishments or projects.


1. Submit online application to concerned district/region/division/metropolis/head office along with necessary documents;


2. The concerned office examines the information mentioned in the application and makes a decision by inspecting the site;


3. Intimation in writing to the entrepreneur regarding grant of renewal of environmental clearance/rejection of application by concerned office.


1. Apply online by filling the applicable sections as per Form-5*;


2. Proof of payment of prescribed clearance renewal fee* and VAT deposit;


3. Compliance Monitoring Report (where applicable) provided as part of the license conditions;


4. Copy of last issued environmental clearance/renewal letter;


5. Other information required (where applicable) such as Explosives Department License for CNG/LPG/LNG/Fuel Gas Filling Stations, BSTI License for Beverage and Food Products related industries, Agriculture Extension Department Registration/License for Biofertilizers etc.


Fees prescribed by the rules for investment shall be deposited in the government treasury through treasury challan, bank draft, pay-order or other electronic means.


7 (seven) working days after receipt of complete application

Yellow Class-


1. Issuance of location clearance for proposed industrial establishments or projects outside government or private export processing zones, economic zones or basic industrial cities.


2. Issuance of environmental clearance for proposed industrial establishments or projects in government or private export processing zones, economic zones or basic industrial cities.


1. Submit online application to concerned district/region/division/metropolis/head office along with required documents;


2. After examining the information mentioned in the application and making a decision after on-site inspection by the concerned office, notifying the entrepreneur to submit the clearance fee;


3. Submission of proof of payment of clearance fee by entrepreneur;


4. Intimation in writing to the entrepreneur regarding grant of clearance/rejection of application by concerned office.


1. Apply online by filling the applicable sections as per Form-3*;


2. Proof of payment of prescribed processing fee* and VAT and prescribed clearance fee* and VAT;


3. Location map and layout plan;


4. Title Deed/Mutation Certificate/ Lease/Rent Agreement including Land Schedule and Mauza Map;


5. Permission letter from Capital / Chittagong / Rajshahi / Khulna Development Authority / Local Authority (where applicable). E.g. Real Estate or Industrial Property located in Government or Private Export Processing Zones, Economic Zones or Basic Industrial Towns.
